It really is working. I set my goal on Habit Forge to write a minimum of 20 minutes per day to create my writing habit (I end up writing much longer but wanted something I could easily do). Not only have I been writing every day, but I am pleased with what I am writing. That huge weight I felt looming over me has drifted away and now I find my writing time not only pleasant and enjoyable but really productive as well.
It’s totally psychological. When that little email comes asking if you’d accomplished your goal for the previous day the last thing I want to do is select “no”. I really want this habit to form and stay with me. So each day so far I have hit “yes” and it feels really good!
The first part of my story is complete and I have now progressed to the beginning of the middle.
Today’s picture is of the Swiss Alps taken from 7000 ft high up on top of Mount Pilates in Lucerne, Switzerland. The gondola ride up was unforgettable and terrifying but worth every single minute.
